Just saw the Lady Paranorma at Fantastic Fest here in Austin and wanted to say I really enjoyed it. It was one of the best animated shorts that screened. I had come across your site years ago and had forgotten about it for some time. Seeing the website during the credits brought back a lot of memories of some great art.

After reading your blog and the caption that preceded this photo about your having a dream of being a fox and then waking up and creating it.

The artist Vincent van Gogh said one of the most profound statements that mirrors your experience… when asked where he got his inspiration for his art he answered by saying “I dream my paintings, then I paint my dreams”

Einstien was famous for saying “Imagination is more important than knowledge, for it is a preview of coming attractions!”

I thought you’d enjoy that if you haven’t heard it before.

wow… i didn’t care for the remix… but the part where the girl was singing to herself, terrified, as they were carrying her above their heads… the fear on her face… not fighting, though, because she feels utterly helpless… i thought, “this kind of shit happened to real people…”

must be that i’ve experienced a home invasion and been carried off against my will, shackled …

society still burns its “witches,” though. ridicule, oppression, drugs… whatever…

Awesome mix tape…I remember those days too. I also remember trying to press stop in time before the DJ spoke! That was a challenge…no time for sketching inbetween, you had to have your wits about you ;)

Fantastic artwork, really enjoyed my visit. Could have done with you around when we shot this….
